A birthday 150 years in the making.

Colorado turns 150 on August 1, 2026. The Mile High 150 Expo is the state's headline Colorado Day celebration — produced by 1943 Events and the Commemorative Air Force Mile High Wing, and directed by the Mile High Air Boss.

Our mission: honor the pioneers, pilots, performers, and everyday Coloradans who lift this state higher — and create a once-in-a-century memory for all who attend.

without you.

Behind every warbird flyover, every crowd moment, every memory made at the Mile High 150 Expo — there's a volunteer who showed up early, stayed late, and gave their time so others could experience something extraordinary.

We don't take that lightly. Our volunteers are not just helpers — they are the heart of this celebration. Colorado's 150th birthday deserves people who care, and we are grateful for every single one of you who raises your hand.
